Inside the Africa Circular website

From the brief.
To a working website.

Three decisions. One connected website. Explore the brief, the structure and the experience, at your own pace.

Africa Circular public homepage with its introduction and routes into the organisation’s work
The public marketing homepage, captured on 4 October 2026.

01 / The brief

Give the organisation a clear introduction.

Africa Circular needed a public presence that connects its purpose, people and published work. The homepage establishes the identity and gives visitors clear routes into projects and country exploration.

Look for

A prominent introduction, direct routes into the work, and English / French navigation.

Africa Circular article archive with search and country, project-type and reported-status filters
The public article archive on 4 October 2026. Search and filters organise published material; article counts are not counts of distinct projects.

02 / The design decision

Turn published material into something people can explore.

Project cards and filters give the published work a useful structure. Visitors can narrow the collection by country, type and reported status, while the shared navigation keeps them connected to the wider website.

Look for

Country, type and reported-status filters alongside the project cards.

Kenya selected in the public country explorer on 4 October 2026. This shows an information-design interaction, not measured geographic reach or a private platform screen.

03 / The working result

Let the next question start with a country.

Country search offers another route into the public website. This captured state shows Kenya selected, bringing a specific country into focus within the shared map and visual identity.

Look for

Country search, an interactive map and the selected Kenya view.

Marshall’s contribution

Website structure, visual direction and implementation, with a public country explorer and English/French social-film deliverables.

Website and film work developed with AI-assisted design, copy and implementation. The selected captures show the public marketing website.

01 / The brief

A useful problem to solve.

A website and social content need to communicate the same purpose while serving different moments: deeper exploration on the site and a concise introduction in a feed.

Connect a recognisable identity with a clear invitation to explore the organisation’s work.

02 / The thinking

A direction with a purpose.

The website connects editorial articles, team information and a country explorer in English and French. Article search and country, project-type and reported-status filters provide routes through the published material. The public Circa introduction and related social films extend the same identity.

03 / What was made

The idea, carried through.

A custom public WordPress website and bilingual social-film deliverables. The separate platform and document workflow has its own review case; no private platform screens appear here.

  • Bilingual public website and searchable article presentation
  • Country explorer and team navigation
  • Public Circa introduction and regional network illustration
  • English and French vertical film exports

04 / What the work establishes

The evidence.
And the next step.

  • Public website captures on 4 October 2026 show the homepage, article filters, selected-country explorer, French view and Circa introduction.
  • Desktop and mobile views connect editorial content, country exploration and bilingual navigation in one identity.
  • Retained verification records identify separate 1080 × 1920, approximately 30-second social-film exports.
  • No audience, enquiry or revenue improvement is claimed.

Carry a clear identity across the website, the content and the next conversation.
